Welcome to Granvillebuildings. We are a family owned company since 2001, with only 2 employees, starting out designing and building O scale toy train buildings. As of Mar.  01 2009, we started to design and build G scale buildings. If you are interested in G scale, please go to our sister web-site. G-Granvillebuildings. We try to keep our staff down to a limited number so that we can pass the saving to the customer. ( less over head ). We try very hard to keep our 100% customer satisfation. Please check out all of our pages for the buildings that we manufacture and sell. If you are new to the hobby, please click on this link to learn more about it. ( Beginners ). We will be adding new items weekly, so please check back. For every kit that we sell, we will donate $ 2.00 per kit to the Childrens Hospital here in Virginia. We will donate the money at the end of the year. If you do not buy our kits, PLEASE donate some money to a Childrens Hospital near you.

       We started out making our kits from " resin ", a type of plastic back in 2001. This year Granvillebuildings have switched over to " Hydrocal ", type of plaster, on acouple of kits. ( We are now mainly using Hydrocal to make our patterns for our molds ). We can get more detail on our walls and it gives you a more realistic looking building when you are finished building the kit. We are now redesigning our molds and making new type of buildings. As of Feb. 01 2009, Granvillebuildings have started to Design and start production on scale S & ON30 KITS AND ACCESSORIES. All of our buildings only comes in kit form. All of our kits will have a fully detailed instructions that will show you from the very beginning to the weathering part of our buildings. It does not matter if you have been building models for 50 years or you just started out, our easy to follow instructions will walk you through it.

         People have different opinions on the size for ON30. We here at Granvillebuildings are making O scale at 1:48 ( true O scale ), so if you use this scale for your ON30, just go to the O scale link on the left side. If you use 1:64 ( true S scale ) for your ON30, then just go to our S scale link on the left side.

        The owner of Granvillebuildings is building his layout of On30 ( new to him, since he has always been for the pass 35 years in HO ). We will be going step by step on construction of his layout to help out new comers to the hobby of railroading and also so that everyone that visits this web-site will get to see it. The layout is 8 foot x 6 foot. Shows how you can make a layout into a small room.  All will be built from scratch.
